I found no cars heading to the Monastery, I started walking to enjoy the scene till I found a car, and a bus came after 15 minutes.. When I arrived I prayed at the gates of the closed church in the Monastery (Gadam in Amharic), and went to Red. Balata, and once more we went to the Abbot, to see if he gave any instructions so I could see one of the manuscripts about the life of Saint Taklehaimanot, but seemed that he wasn’t convinced.. I got the laptop out of the bag, and did show him the website of our Church in Alexandria on the Internet, the Gallery of Saint Taklahaimanot, and told him how we were looking for His icons, or any information about Him, showed him the photos of the visit of Pope Shenouda III to Addis Ababa which we put on the site, and even some scenes from the Kids’ Flash movie about the story of Saint Taklehaimanot, which was designed by one of the servants of the Church, to teach the kids about the Saint in a simple way.. Then I got the permission out again, and told him that we can’t come to the Monastery of Saint Taklehaimanot without getting information about Him, this is His Monastery.. etc.
لم أجد أي عربة في طريق الدير، فبدأت أمشي حتى استمتع بالمناظر المحيطة حتى أجد عربة، وبعد 15 دقيقة جاء أتوبيس.. وعندما وصلت وقمت بالصلاة أمام باب الكنيسة المغلقة في الدير (جادام باللغة الأمهرية)، ذهبت للأخ بالاتا، ومع ذهبنا مرة أخرى إلى رئيس الدير، لنرى إن كان أعطى تعليمات بأن أرى مخطوط من المخطوطات عن حياة القديس تكلاهيمانوت، ولكنه يبدو لم يكن مقتنعاً بالأمر.. فأخرجت اللاب توب، وأريته موقع كنيستنا بالإسكندرية على الإنترنت، والجاليري الخاص بالأنبا تكلاهيمانوت، وأخبرته كيف كنا نبحث عن صوره أو أي معلومات عنه، وأريته صور مجئ قداسة البابا شنوده الثالث إلى أديس أبابا التي قمنا بوضعها على الموقع، وحتى لقطات من فيلم قصة الأنبا تكلا هيمانوت الفلاش الذي قامت بتصميمه إحدى خادمات الكنيسة للأطفال لتعريفهم بالقديس بصورة مبسطة.. ثم أعدت إخراج الورقة الخاصة بالبطريركية والتصريح، وأخبرته أنه لا يمكن أن نأتي إلى دير الأنبا تكلا هيمانوت بدون أن نحصل على معلومات عنه، فهذا هو ديره.. إلخ.
