"أنت هو القيام حولك الشاروبيم والسيرافيم، ستة أجنحة للواحد، وستة أجنحة للأخر، فبجناحين يغطون وجوههم، وبإثنين يسترون أرجلهم ويطيرون بإثنين ويصرخون واحد قبالة واحد منهم، يرسلون تسبيح الغلبة والخلاص الذي لنا بصوت ممتلئ مجدًا يسبحون وينشدون ويصرخون هاتفين قائلين:" |

يقول الشماس: فننصت. |

"قدوس قدوس قدوس رب الصاباؤوت، السماء والأرض مملوءتان من مجدك الأقدس" ثم يرشم الكاهن ذاته باللفافة التي على الكأس أولًا والخدام ثانيًا ثم الشعب غربًا – وفي كل مرة يقول " آجيوس.. ثم يكمل بعد ذلك: "قدوس قدوس أنت أيها الرب وقدوس في كل شيء، وبالأكثر مختار هو نور جوهريتك، وغير موصوفة هي قوة حكمتك وليس شيء من النطق يستطيع أن يحد عمق([1]) محبتك للبشر، خلقتني إنسانًا كمحب للبشر، ولم تكن أنت محتاجًا إلى عبوديتي بل أنا المحتاج إلى ربوبيتك، من أجل تعطفاتك الجزيلة كونني إذ لم أكن ([2]) أقمت السماء لي سقفًا، وثبت لي الأرض لأمشي عليها من أجلي ألجمت البحر، من أجلي أظهرت طبيعة الحيوان، أخضعت كل شيئ تحت قدمي لم تدعني معوزًا شيئًا من أعمال كرامتك أنت الذي جبلتني ووضعت يدك علي، ورسمت في صورة سلطانك ووضعت في موهبة النطق، وفتحت لي الفردوس لأتنعم و أعطيتني علم معرفتك اظهرت لي شجرة الحياة وعرفتني شوكة الموت. غرس واحد نهيتني ان آكل منه هذا الذي قلت لا تأكل منه وحده فأكلت بإرادتي وتركت عني ناموسك برأيي وتكاسلت عن وصاياك أنا أختطفت لي قضية الموت" |

يقول الشعب: يا رب ارحم "بلحنها المعروف" |
([1]) وردت في بعض النسخ لجة وهي تفيد الغني والوفرة والفيض.
([2]) يتحدث الكاهن بصيغة الفرد لأن ما عمله الرب إنما هو من أجل كل واحد فينا شخصيًا.
