Month of Mesra, the twelfth Coptic month in the Egyptian Coptic Calendar. The word is written in Arabic, English and Coptic, with images and figures representing this month. One of this month's famous sayings: "Mesra, canals flow very much", i.e. the abundance of the Nile's deluge water. The name of the month comes from "Mes Raa" meaning the birth of Ra, son of the sun, and you can see his image. In the cartouche there is the number of the month (12), and in the circle that is surrounded by serpents there is the number in Coptic. Shown are images of the Assumption of the body of St. Mary, and Saint Taklahaymanout (events of the month). It lies between August and September. كلمة شهر مسرى، وهو الشهر القبطي الثاني عشر من الشهور القبطية المصرية. والكلمة مكتوبة باللغات العربية والإنجليزية والقبطية، مع صور وأشكال تعبر عن الشهر. فيوجد من الأمثال الشعبية لهذا الشهر: "مسرى، تجري فيه كل ترعة عسرة"، أي ازدياد مياه الفيضان فتغمر الأرض. واسم الشهر مشتق من "مس رع" أي ولادة رع ابن الشمس، ويوجد صورته. وفي الخرطوش يوجد رقم الشهر (12)، وفي الدائرة المحاطة بالثعابين يوجد رقم الشهر بالقبطية. ويوجد صورة صعود جسد العذراء مريم، والقديس تكلاهيمانوت من أحداث الشهر. وهو يقع ما بين شهري أغسطس وسبتمبر. وأخيرًا يوجد بعض نباتات هذا الشهر مثل الليمون - التفاح - الرمان - الموز. - تصميم مايكل غالي لـ: موقع الأنبا تكلا هيمانوت
