The statue, classical in structure and well-modeled in the face is the only known work of the artist.
Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine
The saint, her face framed by short hair, is dressed in a traditional tunic while holding the palm of martyrdom in the right hand.

On 11 January 1703 Canusi agreed to execute the statue and was given until 18 June.

He was given a payment of 80 scudi which was received by Giovanni Maria Baratta.
Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine
The saints right hand is raised in a gesture of blessing. His left, in accordance with the Eastern tradition, holds a book.

He entered into a contract with the Fabbrica on 5 June, 1702. The payment of 80 scudi was made in two installments; the first of 20 scudi was on 29 November, and the balance on 28 February 1703.

The saint is depicted in traditional Augustinian habit, and with a star in the middle of his chest.
