المسيح والكائنات الأربعة، كنيسة مارمينا فم الخليج

The painting of the altar of Saint Mina Church in Fom El Khaleeg: A painting in the dome of Saint George’s altar in Saint Mina’s Church, Fom El Khaleeg, Old Egypt, dating back to 18th Century. It is in a Coptic-Armenian style. It depicts Christ the Lord, the Pentocrator, surrounded by the four living creatures, the sun and the moon, and four angels carrying the dome, with the name of each written before each of them: Michael, Gabriel, Rafael, and Sorial.

The same painting can be found in the dome of Saint Filopatere Church, Old Egypt, dating back to the 18th century A.D.

رسم مذبح مارمينا فم الخليج: رسم بقبة مذبح مارجرجس بكنيسة مارمينا بفم الخليج بمصر القديمة، يرجع تاريخهاً إلى القرن الثامن عشر، وهى طراز قبطي أرمني. وفيهاً السيد المسيح ضابط الكل، وحوله الأربعة كائنات غير المتجسدة، والشمس والقمر، وأربعة ملائكة يحملون القبة وأسماؤهم مكتوبة قبالة كل واحد منهم: ميخائيل وغبريال وروفائيل وسوريال.

ونفس المنظر موجود في قبة كنيسة أبو سيفين بمصر القديمة، ويرجع تاريخهاً إلى القرن الثامن عشر أيضاً.
