 الكنائس الإحدى عشر المنحوتة في الصخر

After that I went back to the complex of the Churches at 2.00 p.m., the ticket was the most expensive, which was 200 Ethiopian Birr, but valid for more than one day..

بعد هذا ذهبت في الثانية ظهراً إلى مجمع الكنائس، والتذكرة الخاصة بالدخول من أغلى التذاكر وهي 200 بِر..  ولكنها صالحة لأكثر من يوم..

That issue of paying tickets to enter churches is so weird..  As they do in Egypt of making entrance to some ancient Mosques with tickets..  Of course the ticket is to help in keeping the monument or something..  But the hard thing is having to pay a ticket to enter the House of God!!  Whether you were a foreigner or native..!  It is unacceptable..  Maybe if they changed that name of “ticket”, and make it something like a certain “donation”, with a minimum limit, and giving a simple souvenir, even if it was a card or a picture to change the feeling of this “ticket” thing..  I don’t know..  Just a thought..

موضوع دفع تذاكر دخول للكنائس هذا هو أمر عجيب جداً..  مثل ما يفعلون في مصر من دخول بعض الجوامع الأثرية بتذاكر..  بالطبع التذكرة هي للمساهمة في الحفاظ على الأثر أو غيره..  ولكن الأمر الصعب هو دخول بيت الله بتذكرة!!  سواء أكنت أجنبياً أم وطنياً..!  وهو أمر غير مقبول..  ربما إذا تم تغيير اسم موضوع "تذكرة" هذا، إلى "تبرع" معين، له حد أدنى مثلاً، ومثلاً إعطاء هدية تذكارية بسيطة حتى لو كانت كارتاً أو صورة لتغيير الإحساس بموضوع التذكرة هذا..  لا أعرف..  مجرد فكرة..
