A sermon of our father saint Athanasius the Apostolic may his blessing be upon us. Amen.	Oukathxhchc `nte peniwt eqouab abba Aqanacioc pi`apotolikoc> `erepef`cmou `eqouab ]wpi neman `amhn.	عظة لأبينا القديس أنبا أثناسيوس الرسولي، بركته المقدسة تكون معنا. آمين.
For Christ Himself came and died for us because of His love. For he did not only create us, who are sinners, as Adam, but when we destroyed ourselves with sin, He came and suffered for us and gave us life through His love. He came to us as a physician manifesting Himself to us. He did not come to heal us of our sickness but to raise us from the death that enslaved us. He freed us from its bonds. Christ the Lord died for us that we may have life with Him forever. Him being the Lord , came and shared in humanity's pains. How then can a human who is enslaved be saved? Christ put death under His feet and it was defeated. Hades in its power fell back when it heard the voice of the Lord calling the souls saying: "Come out of your bonds, you who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death. Come out of your bonds, I preach to you life for I am the Christ, the son of the eternal God.		لأن المسيح جاء بذاته ولمحبته مات عنا لأنه لم يخلقنا نحن الخطاة مثل آدم ويصيرنا بشراً فقط بل لما أهلكنا أنفسنا بالخطية جاء وتألم عنا وأحيانا بمحبته لأنه قد جاء إلينا كطبيب معلناً لنا ذاته لأنه لم يأت لنا كمرضي بل كموتي. بهذا لم يشفينا نحن المرضي بل أقامنا نحن الأموات الذين ابتلعنا الموت ففكنا من رباطاته. لهذا مات المسيح الرب عنا لكي نحيا معه إلى الأبد، لأنه أن لم يكن الرب قد شارك البشرية في آلامها فكيف يخلص الإنسان؟! لأن الموت سقط تحت أقدام المسيح وإنهزم وهو مسبي مضطرب والجحيم مع قوته رجع إلى خلف لما سمع صوت الرب ينادي الأنفس قائلاً : أخرجوا من وثاقتكم أيها الجالسون في الظلمة وظلال الموت، أخرجوا من وثاقتكم، أنا أبشركم بالحياة لأني أنا هو المسيح إبن الله الأبدي.
We conclude the sermon by our father the holy abba Athanasius the Apostolic who enlightened our minds, eyes and hearts in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, One God. Amen.
