قبة باويط القبطية

A mural painting of a niche in Bawit room no. 6, dating back to the 6th century A.D. Christ the Lord appears sitting on the throne, carried by the four living creatures, the sun and the moon, and the head of angels, Archangel Michael and Gabriel. Underneath it, there is Virgin Mary carrying baby Jesus, surrounded by the twelve disciples.

رسم جداري من باويط: حنية من باويط، من حجرة رقم 6، ترجع للقرن السادس الميلادي. وفيهاً السيد المسيح جالس على العرش ومحمول بالأربعة كائنات، والشمس والقمر، ورؤساء الملائكة ميخائيل وغبريال. ومن تحت السيدة العذراء تحمل الطفل يسوع وحولهاً الرسل الإثنى عشر.
