This statue is one of the group of 16 that were installed between August 1670 and March 1673.

Sculptor - Francesco Antonio Fontana
Attributed to him since he received payments for three statues from July 1671 to March 1673.

Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine
This statue along with St Frances of Paola (127), share a flattened drapery. This differentiates it from the nearby statues of Morelli.

In Catholic art, Bruno is often shown holding a skull, or with a miter at his feet, since he renounced being made bishop.
