Sculptor - Lazzaro Morelli
Morelli was the most prolific of the sculptors working for Bernini on the colonnade statues, with over 45 saints attributed to him.

Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine
The pope is shown with open arms and bearded face. In pontifical dress, he does not have a tiara, in memory of his abdication only five months after his election.
