On 13 January 1702 he undertook to execute the statue, and delivered it on 14 March 1703.

He received 60 scudi for the statue and 20 for the dog.
Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine
Depicted as a child, he bends to pat a dog, his traditional attribute.
Artistic work in stucco of the highest quality was rare at the end of the seventeenth century This work is characterized by a semingly open and waving movement.

In April 1702 Ferretti began work on the statue which he delivered the following year.
Sculptor - Giuseppe Ferretti
During 1703 he received two payments, for 20 and 10 scudi, then a final payment for 50 scudi. This is the only know work of Ferretti. The treatment of drapery and hair recalls the two statues, Sts Nereus (88) and Achilleus (89)
Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine
He is depicted as a mature man with a beard, in Roman dress with a short tunic and cloak over his right shoulder. His left hand hold the palm of martyrdom.
