12- طلبة الصلاة الثانية من القنديل: أيها الرب الرؤوف محب البشر

 

Priest:	الكاهن:
O Lord, the Merciful and Lover of mankind, Who accepts the penitent, Who knows that man’s thoughts tend to go to evil from his infancy, Who desire not the death of the sinner but to return back to Him and live, Who was incarnated for the salvation of mankind, Who did say, I did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance, Who did seek for and found the stray sheep and the lost coin, Who did say, he that comes unto Me, I will not cast out, Who did forgive the adulteress after she repented, in the past.	ايها الرب الرؤوف محب البشر، القابل اليه التائبين، العارف ان فكر الإنسان مائل الي الشر منذ صباه، الذي لا يشاء موت الخاطئ حتى يرجع إليه ويحيا، الذي تأنس من أجل خلاص البشر، الذي قال اني لم آت لأدع الصديقين بل الخطاة إلي التوبة، الذي طلب الخروف الضال والدرهم المفقود ووجدهما، الذي قال ان من يقبل إلي لا أخرجه خارجا، الذي غفر خطايا الزانية التي تابت قديما،
Likewise, You forgave the sins of the paralytic and gave him good health. You who said there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents. You also said, every time if you fall, rise and you shall be saved. Look, O Merciful from Your holy heavens, and abide in Your servants who confessed their sins, they who are coming to You with faith and hope, forgive their inequities, whether they were by deed, words or thought. Purify them from all sins. Preserve them for the rest of their lives walking in Your commandments so that the enemy may not rejoice in them once more. And may in this Your Holy Name be glorified, and to You all the glory, might and worship, are due at all times and unto the age of all ages, now forever and ever Amen.	وهكذا المُقعَد أعطيته غفران خطاياه وصحة جسده. أنت الذي قلت أنه يكون فرح في السماء بخاطيء واحد يتوب. وقلت أيضا ان كل مرة تسقط قم فتخلص. أطلع أيها المتحنن من سمائك المقدسة، وحل في عبيدك المعترفين بزلاتهم، المقبل اليك بأمانة ورجاء. وإغفر لهم غلطاتهم، ان كان بالفعل أو بالقول أو بالفكر. طهرهم من كل خطية، واحفظهم بقية زمان حياتهم سالكا في وصاياك، لكي لا يفرح بهم العدو دفعة اخري. وبهذا يتمجد اسمك القدوس، ويليق بك المجد والعزة والسجود الآن وكل أوان والي دهر الدهور آمين.
