Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. يشبه ملكوت السموات كنزًا مخفيًا في حقل وجده إنسان ومن فرحه مضى وباع كل ما كان له وأشترى ذلك الحقل، أيضًا يشبه ملكوت السموات إنسانًا تاجرًا يطلب لآلئ حسنة فلما وجد لؤلؤة واحدة كثيرة الثمن مضى وباع كل ما له وأشتراها. أيضًا يشبه ملكوت السموات شبكة مطروحة في البحر وجامعة من كل نوع فلما إمتلأت أصعدوها على الشاطئ وجلسوا وجمعوا الجياد إلى الأوعية وأما الأردياء فطرحوها خارجًا. هكذا يكون في إنقضاء الدمر يخرج الملائكة ويفرزون الأشرار من بين الأبرار ويطرحونهم في آتون النار هناك يكون البكاء وصرير الأسنان. قال لهم يسوع أفهمتم هذا كله. فقالوا نعم يا رب. فقال " من أجل هذا كل كاتب متعلم في ملكوت السموات يشبه رجلا رب بيت يخرج من كنزه جددًا وعتقاء ".
