27- عبادة الأوثان إقلعها / قم أيها الرب الإله

The worship of idols, utterly uproot from the world. All offenses and their instigators, abolish. May all dissensions of corrupt heresies cease. The enemies of Your holy Church, O Lord, as at all times, now also humiliate. هنا يأخذ الكاهن المجمرة في يده ثم يقول:

((عبادة الأوثان بالكمال إقلعها من العالم الشيطان وكل قواتها الشريرة إسحقهم وأذلهم تحت أقدامنا سريعًا الشكوك وفاعليها أبطلهم ولينقض إفتراق فساد البدع أعداء بيعتك المقدسة يا رب كما في كل زمان والآن أذلهم حل تعاظمهم عرفهم ضعفهم سريعًا أبطل حسدهم وسعايتهم وجنونهم وشرهم ونميمتهم التي يصنعونها فينا يا رب إجعلهم كلهم كلا شيء وبدد مشورتهم (هنا يقول بلحن العتيقة) يا الله الذي بدد مشورة أخيتوفل))

 يقول الشعب

يا رب إرحم

هنا يرفع الكاهن البخور من فوق الصينية ويقول:

قم أيها الرب الإله ولتتفرق جميع اعدائك وليهرب من قدام وجهك كل مبغضي إسمك القدوس (هنا يلتفت الكاهن إلى الغرب ويعطي البخور للشعب قائلًا) وأما شعبك فليكن بالبركة ألوف ألوف وربوات ربوات يصنعون إرادتك)
