A mid-aged woman arrived, talking very poor English.. And when I told her “Amharynia tenish tenish” (I speak Amharic a little bit).. She insisted that most of her speech with me be in Amharic, and not to talk in English unless I ask her to!!
The first surprise was that at that place there was the tomb of Saint Tsaga Zab the father of Saint Taklehaimanot, and also the tomb of Saint Egzy Harya the mother of Saint Taklehaimanot..!!! That was an unknown thing for us in Egypt till that moment.. It was a great blessing.. And in both tombs there were icons for them..
