143- The Manuscript of St. Taklahimanout from another place!

In the morning I went to the National Archive Library of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa to see if my ID Card is ready or what..  In the Ethiopian Studies Library, I met the manageress that gave us before the book that lead us to know about the feast of Saint Taklehaimanot in May..  She welcomed me, and I told her how she was part of the divine planning to fulfill that matter..  She asked me to show her the photographs that we took at the celebration in Debre Libanos, and she liked them very much..

ذهبت صباح اليوم إلى مركز الأرشيف الإثيوبي في أديس أبابا لأرى هل تم عمل الاشتراك الذي قمت بالتقديم عليه سابقاً..  وفي مكتبة الدراسات الإثيوبية، قابلت المديرة التي أعطتنا سابقاً الكتاب الذي كان سبب في معرفتنا بعيد القديس تكلاهيمانوت في مايو..  رحَّبَت بي، وأخبرتها كيف كانت هي أيضاً جزء من التدبير الإلهي لإتمام هذا الأمر..  ثم طلبت مني أن أريها الصور التي قمنا بتصويرها في الاحتفال في ديبرا ليبانوس، وأعجبت بها كثيراً.. 

Then I went to the manuscripts Library, and God arranged that we get a considerable amount of the manuscript of the life of Saint Taklehaimanot, which was another copy of the manuscript which is available in Debre Libanos, and it is an original and not a copy..  Inscribed on animal leather..  God arranged that the manageress helped to introduce us to those in charge of the Manuscripts Center, so we could copy part of the manuscript..

ثم ذهبت إلى مكتبة المخطوطات، ودبَّر الله أن نحصل على جزء لا بأس به من مخطوط حياة القديس تكلا هيمانوت، وكانت عبارة عن نسخة أخرى من المخطوط الموجود بديبرا ليبانوس، وهي نسخة أصلية أيضاً وليست منسوخة..  مكتوبة على جلد حيوان..  ودبَّر الله أن تساعدنا المديرة في تقديمنا للمسئولين عن مركز المخطوطات، لنقوم بتصوير جزء من المخطوط.. 

That manuscript had no drawn images..  That’s normal..  But when we put that side by side with the note that we only got the images from the other manuscript in the Monastery, that is the strange thing..  Putting this with that, we have a nearly-full manuscript!!  Egziabire yemmasgal (thanks to God)..

هذا المخطوط لم يكن به صور مرسومة..  هذا أمر عادي..  ولكن عندما نضع هذا الأمر بجانب أننا قد حصلنا على الصور فقط من المخطوط الآخر بالدير، فهنا الأمر الغريب..  فبوضع هذا مع ذاك، يكتمل المخطوط إلى حد كبير!!  إجزيابير يمّاسجال (نشكر الله)..
