Today I got the permission of photography and collecting information on Lalibella, in addition to another one for Addis Ababa Churches.. I was told that in order to ‘activate’ this permission, I had to give it to the mentioned Parish first! So I went to the Addis Ababa Perish on the same street, but the Bishop in charge was not there, so I’ll go to Him next Friday, May 2nd, as May 1st is The National Labor Day in Ethiopia! Just like Egypt!
حصلت اليوم على تصريح التصوير وتجميع المعلومات في لاليبيلا، بالإضافة إلى تصريح من البطريركية لكنائس أديس أبابا.. وقيل لي أنه ينبغي لتفعيل هذا التصريح يجب أن أقدمه أولاً إلى الإيبارشيات الخاصة بكل مكان منهم! فذهبت إلى إيبارشية أديس أبابا في نفس الشارع، ولكن الأسقف المسئول لم يكن هناك، فسأذهب إليه يوم الجمعة 2 مايو، حيث أن 1 مايو هو عيد قومي وإجازة رسمية في إثيوبيا، وهو عيد العمال! مثل مصر!
