My Coptic Orthodox Church is the church of the Lord
Faithful and forever proud I pray that it stays strong
At the dawn of Christianity my church has set its roots
As Saint Mark came to Egypt carying the torche of faith
He traveled in its lands spreading the Gospel's call
In the name of Jesus Christ repent and you'll be saved

And joyfully and faithfully they praised the Son of God
They destroyed all the idols raised the victorious cross
They built so many churches to worship and to pray
The Devil right away started to fight the church
He angered all the rulers the soldiers and the crowds
