194- St. Mariam of Koskam Church, Ethiopia

Finally I went to Saint Mary of Kuskam Church..  It is built under the name of Koskam Mountain in Egypt, as the Ethiopians sanctify the Monastery of El Muharraq in Egypt, because it has a cave that was blessed by the Virgin Mary during Her visit to Egypt..  About the journey of the Holy Family to Egypt..  It has remains of some Ethiopian Emperors, and there are ruins of some castles around the area..  The icons of the Church are new, but very nice..

أخيراً ذهبت إلى كنيسة القديسة مريم قسقام..  وهي مبنية على اسم جبل قسقام في مصر، حيث يقدس الأحباش دير المحرق كثيراً لكون به مغارة مقدسة من زيارة العذراء للمنطقة قبل أن يُبنى الدير المصري..  عن رحلة العائلة المقدسة إلى أرض مصر..  وبها رفات بعض الأباطرة الأحباش، وحولها يوجد بقايا قصور..  الكنيسة من الداخل حديثة الصور، ولكنها جميلة جداً..
