The sky was a bit cloudy, and started raining, we had about 2 km. to go.. There was no other option but to head forward! Bearing with the dust of the gravel road, people, cars and their smokes, and now rain! We reached the Monastery before 11 o’clock, I noticed that there were no foreigners on that day at all.. I passed the walls of the Church building to the enclosure, stood for a while, then it was time to take some shots before it starts raining again.. I moved forward, and found a good spot; on top of a lorry where some people are standing..
كانت السماء بها بعض الغيوم، وبدأت تُمطِر علينا، وكنا في الطريق على بعد 2 كم من الدير.. بدون أي اختيار سوى التقدم للأمام! فمن احتمال الغبار من الطريق الترابي والناس والعربات، إلى دخان العربات، والآن المطر! وصلنا الدير قبل الساعة الحادية عشر بقليل، ولاحَظت خلال هذا اليوم أنه لا يوجد أي أجانب على الإطلاق.. ودخلت داخل أسوار الكنيسة إلى الحوش، ووقفت برهة من الوقت، ثم رأيت أنه من المناسب أن أبدأ في التصوير، قبل أن تمطر مرة أخرى.. وتقدمت للأمام، ووجدت مكاناً مناسباً للتصوير، فوق عربة نصف نقل يقف فوقها البعض..
