Shemaiah the Prophet

(heard by Jehovah).

A prophet in the reign of Rehoboam. (1 Kings 12:22; 2 Chronicles 11:2) (B.C. 972.) He wrote a chronicle containing the events of Rehoboam's reign. (2 Chronicles 12:5,15)
