Lord of Comfort, Lord of Bliss;
Enrich us because we're poor
And Your Divine treasures endure.
2- Holy, radiant Spirit of God,
Of all consolers You're the One;
Christ promised us You will come
When He ascends high above.
3- Immortal God, Fire of Love,
Shape of tongues and shape of a dove,
Rested on every pure apostle
As they heard the strong wind hustle.
4- The Dove was seen, the Voice heard,
On the mount where Christ transfigured;
And in the Jordan to declare
God's Trinitarian nature is there.
