In the afternoon, I went to the mountain that was near the hotel I was staying at, and saw some birds like wild geese and wild chicken (I think Guinea Fowl).. I walked in the riverbed, it had very few spots with water here and there.. And some locked in fish waiting for the rainy season, hoping that it comes before all the water evaporates!! In that water there were some plants, I thought at the beginning that they were leaves falling from some trees, but it was an aquatic plant (Hydrophyte) with leaves very similar to those of Camphor trees.. But in water!
وبعد الظهر ذهبت للجبل القريب من الفندق الذي أقيم به، ورأيت بعضاً من الطيور المختلفة منها أوز بري، ودجاج بري (أظن أنه دجاج حبشي: جوينيا فاول).. وتمشيت في مجرى النهر، وكان به قليل من الماء من مكان لآخر.. وبه بعض الأسماك المحبوسة في انتظار موسم المطر، على أمل أن يأتي قبل أن يتبخر كل الماء!! وبالماء بعض من النباتات، ظننتها في البداية أوراق شجر ساقطة على الماء، ولكنه كان نبات مائي (هايدروفيت) ذو أوراق شبيهة جداً بأوراق شجر الكافور.. ولكنه في الماء!
