I tried to go to the Library of the Monastery, but I noticed lots of concealment regarding this, although I mentioned it many times.. How come you don’t have a Library?! Or at least a storeroom for ancient books? In Egypt there is at least one Library in each Church, and all the Monasteries have Libraries.. Even the Churches of Addis Ababa that I visited had at least museums for ancient manuscripts! The Metropolitans of the Ethiopian Patriarchate told me that I could have the information I needed from Debre Libanos..
ثم حاولت أن أذهب للمكتبة الخاصة بالدير، فلاحَظت كثيراً من التمويه حول الموضوع، رغم أنني ذكرته أكثر من مرة.. وكيف لا يوجد لديكم مكتبة؟! أو على الأقل خزانة للكتب الأثرية؟ لدينا في مصر على الأقل مكتبة واحدة في كل كنيسة، وجميع الأديرة بها مكتبات.. وحتى كنائس أديس أبابا التي قمت بزيارتها بها متاحف للاحتفاظ بالمخطوطات الأثرية! لقد قال لي الآباء المطارنة بالبطريركية الحبشية أنني أستطيع أن أحصل على المعلومات التي أريدها من ديبرا ليبانوس..
