    القديس يارد الموسيقي و الشاعر يترنم أمام الملك جابرا ماسكال (مات عام 1344)، وخلال ترنمه أسند الملك رمحه بدون قصد في قدم القديس، الذي لم يشعر بشيء إلى أن انتهى من ترنيمته.  بعد هذا أصبح القديس راهباً
