74) Showa Province

 مقاطعة شوا

 

The way to “Shwa” district that the Monastery is in and its nature is very beautiful as we mentioned before, again we saw some runners, women workers and the agricultural land..  etc.  After about one hour the car stopped, and the workman in the car asked one Birr of me, I asked him why?  As I paid the fare already?  He told me: “Beita Kristian” which means “Church” in Amharic, I looked around and found a Church by the name of Archangel Gabriel, and some servants are on the road collecting some donations..  I gave him something, and took some shots.

وكان الطريق إلى منطقة "شوا" الموجود بها الدير جميل جداً من ناحية الطبيعة كما ذكرنا سابقاً، ورأينا كذلك العدّائين والعاملات والأراضي الزراعية..  إلخ.  وبعد حوالي الساعة توقفت العربة، وطلب مني العامل بالعربة بها 1 بِر، فسألته لماذا؟ وقد دفعت الأجرة بالفعل؟  فقال لي: "بيتا كريستيان" أي "كنيسة" باللغة الأمهرية، فنظرت حولي فوجدت كنيسة لرئيس الملائكة جبرائيل، وبعض الخدام يقومون بجمع تبرعات لها..  فأعطيته مبلغ، وقمت بأخذ بعض اللقطات.
