41) Gabra Manfas Kedus, the Egyptian Saint who is Unknown in Egypt!
!جيبرا مينفوس قدوس، القديس المصري الغير معروف في مصر
Later we got into a small church, that had some hard scenes of martyrs at the time of their martyrdom.. One of the monks explained the icons to me in Amharic!!! I tried to get the idea from the pictures, some signs and a few English words here and there.. I saw an icon for Saint Gebre Menfis Kedus, whom they say He is an Egyptian Coptic saint.. But he is not mentioned in the Coptic Synaxarium.. I’ll try to get His hagiography to put it on the site..
بعد هذا دخلنا إلى كنيسة صغيرة، كانت بها بعض الصور الصعبة للشهداء في حالات الاستشهاد.. وقد شرح لي أحد الآباء الرهبان الصور باللغة الأمهرية!!! وحاولت أن أفهم من خلال الصور والإشارات وكلمات إنجليزية متناثرة.. ورأيت صورة للقديس "جيبرا مينفوس قدوس" الذي يقولون أنه قديس قبطي مصري.. ولكنه غير مذكور في السنكسار القبطي.. سأحاول البحث عن سيرته لوضعها بالموقع..
