Then it was 12.05, after walking for more than 2 hours.. I saw a green gate, with a cross.. I thanked God that I arrived.. And read a title tag in Amharic, but I couldn’t find the word “TaklaHimanot” in the title.. I entered to ask, and found an old nun, who welcomed me, and called one of the girls who speaks English.. She told me that this was the Church of Saint Archangel Michael, and that the Monastery of Saint Taklehaimanot was near from it.. She offered to show me the building of the Church of St. Mikail from the outside, as it was carved in the rocks, by one person.. There were two entrances engraved in the rocks from the outside, one for men and the other for women, in addition to some large Crosses.. That was on the mountain, at the last third part, not at its foot.. She pointed at the Church of Saint Taklehaimanot at a distance less than 10 minutes from the Church.. I told her that it was good that there was a Church for Archangel Michael in that place.. As He, Saint Taklehaimanot and His parents are friends.. :)
الساعة الآن 12.05، بعد سير أكثر من ساعتين.. رأيت بوابة خضراء، وعليها صليب.. فشكرت الله على الوصول.. وقرأت عنواناً بالأمهرية، ولكني لم أتعرف على كلمة "تكلا هيمانوت" في العنوان.. فدخلت لأسأل، ووجدت راهبة عجوز، رحبت بي، ونادت إحدى الفتيات اللائي يتحدثن الإنجليزية.. وأخبرتني تلك أن هذه كنيسة الملاك ميخائيل، ودير الأنبا تكلا هيمانوت قريب منه.. فعرضت عليَّ أن تُريني مبنى كنيسة رئيس الملائكة ميخائيل من الخارج، حيث أنه منحوت في الصخر، وقد نحته شخص واحد.. منحوت من الخارج مدخلين، واحد للرجال والآخر للسيدات، بالإضافة لبضعة صلبان كبيرة.. كان ذلك على الجبل، في الثلث الأخير له، وليس عند سفحه.. وأشارت إلى كنيسة الأنبا تكلا هيمانوت على بُعد أقل من 10 دقائق من الكنيسة.. وأخبرتها أنه أمر جيد وجود كنيسة الملاك ميخائيل في هذا المكان.. حيث أنه والقديس تكلا هيمانوت وعائلته أصدقاء.. :)

When I got closer, and tried
to read the sign, I couldn't find the name of St. Taklahimanot on
the tag.. So, that was not the place!!
I entered and met a nun
inside, that told me that this land is for a Church by the name of
Archangel Michael, and offered to show it to me
Then she pointed at the
Monastery of Saint Taklahimanot nearby.. :)
