152) The falls of the Blue Nile

 شلالات النهر الأزرق

When we got closer to the falls, I saw on the sides huge rocks and acute inclinations of rocks..  Maybe some of them were new, as one of the beautiful scenes I had ever seen were the roots of one of the trees that was showing, and coming down from the top of the mountain to bottom..  With a length of the root tens of meters, in a length maybe more than five times the length of the tree itself..

عند اقترابنا من الشلال أكثر، رأيت على جانبيه صخور ضخمة وانحدارات صخرية حادة..  وربما يكون بعضها حديثاً، حيث من أحد المناظر الجميلة التي رأيتها، هي جذور أحد الأشجار، وقد تعرى تماماً، ويظهر وهو ينزل عشرات الأمتار من أعلى الجبل حتى نهايته..  بطول الجذر ربما يكون أكثر من خمسة أضعاف طول الشجرة نفسها..
