وإذا جاء المعزى الذي أرسله أنا إليكم من عند أبى، روح الحق المنبثق من الآب فهو يشهد لي، وأنتم أيضاً تشهدون لأنكم معي منذ الابتداء. كملتكم بهذا لكي لا تشكوا، فإنهم سيخرجونكم من المجامع، بل ستأتي ساعة يظن فيها كل من يقتلكم أنه يقرب قرباناً لله وسيفعلون هذا بكم لأنهم لم يعرفوا الآب ولم يعرفوني أنا، لكني كلمتكم بهذا حتى إذا جاءت الساعة تذكرون أنى أنا قد قلته لكم، ولم أخبركم بهذا من قبل لأني كنت معكم، وأما الان فإنى ماض إلى الذي أرسلنى، وليس احد منكم يسألني إلى أين تمضى، ولكن لأني قلت لكم بهذا قد ملأ الحزن قلوبكم، لكني أقول لكم الحق أنه خير لكم أن أنطلق، لأنه إن لم أنطلق لا يأتيكم المعزى، ولكن إذا امضيت أرسله إليكم، ومتى جاء ذاك فهو يبكت العالم لأجل الخطية ومن اجل البر ومن أجل الدينونة، أما على الخطية فلأنهم لم يؤمنوا بي واما على البر فلأنني ماض إلى الآب ولا ترونني بعد وأما من أجل الدينونة لأن رئيس هذا العالم قد دين، ولي أمور كثيرة لأقولها لكم لكن لا تقدرون أن تتحملوا ألان، ولكن إذا جاء ذاك روح الحق فهو يرشدكم إلى جميع الحق لأنه لا يتكلم من عنده بل كل ما يسمع يتكلم به ويخبركم بما ياتى وذاك يمجدني لأنه يأخذ مما لي ويخبركم. كل ما لأبي فهو لي ومن أجل هذا قلت لكم أنه يأخذ مما لي ويخبركم بعد قليل لا ترونني ثم بعد قليل أيضاً ترونني لأني ذاهب إلى الآب. فقال قوم من تلاميذه بعضهم لبعض: ما هذا الكلام الذي يقوله لنا، بعد قليل لا ترونني ثم بعد قليل أيضاً تروننى وانى ذاهب إلى الآب. وكانوا يقولون: ما هو هذا القليل الذي يقول عنه، لسنا نعلم ماذا يقول. فعلم يسوع أنهم كانوا يريدون أن يسِألوه فقال لهم: أعن هذا الكلام تتباحثون بعضكم مع بعض، لأني قلت بعد قليل لا تروننى ثم بعد قليل أيضاً تروننى؟ُ. الحق الحق أقول لكم أنكم أنتم ستبكون وتنوحون والعالم يفرح أنتم تحزنون ولكن حزنكم يؤول إلى فرح فالمرأة إذا حضرت ولادتها تحزن لأن ساعتها قد أتت لكنها إذا ولدت الابن لا تعود تذكر الشدة من أجل الفرح لأنها ولدت إنساناً في العالم، وأنتم أيضاً الآن. وفي ذلك اليوم لا تسألونني شيئا، الحق الحق أقول لكم إن كل ما تسألون الآب باسمي يعطيكم إياه. | |

And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. |
إلى الان لم تسألوا شيئا باسمي سلوا فتأخذوا ليكون فرحكم كاملاً. قلت لكم هذا بأمثال بل أخبركم عن الآب علانية، في ذلك اليوم تسألون بإسمي ولا أقول لكم أنى أسال الآب من أجلكم فإن الآب هو أيضاً يحبكم لأنكم أحببتموني وآمنتم آنى من الآب خرجت. قد خرجت من الآب وأتيت إلى العالم، وايضاً أترك العالم وأمضى إلى الآب. فقال له تلاميذه: ها إنك الآن تتكلم علانية ولست تقول شيئاً بمثل الان نعلم أنك عالم بكل شيء ولست محتاج ن يسألك أحد. بهذا نؤمن أنك من الله خرجت. أجابهم يسوع أتؤمنون الان، فإنه تأتي ساعة وقد أتت لتتفرقوا كل واحد منكم إلى مكانه وتتركوني وحدي ولست وحدي لأن أبي معي، قلت لكم هذا ليكون لكم في سلام لكم ضيق في العالم ولكن ثقوا فإنى قد غلبت العالم. والمجد لله دائماً. | ||

They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. | |||

But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? | |||
|
But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. | |||

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. | |||
|
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. | |||

Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? | |||
|
They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith. Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. | |||

These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. | |||
|
At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. | |||
|
His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. | |||
|
Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. | |||

26 ومتى جاء المعزي الذي سارسله انا اليكم من الاب روح الحق الذي من عند الاب ينبثق فهو يشهد لي* 27 وتشهدون انتم ايضا لانكم معي من الابتداء* 1 قد كلمتكم بهذا لكي لا تعثروا* 2 سيخرجونكم من المجامع بل تاتي ساعة فيها يظن كل من يقتلكم انه يقدم خدمة لله* 3 وسيفعلون هذا بكم لانهم لم يعرفوا الاب ولا عرفوني* 4 لكني قد كلمتكم بهذا حتى اذا جاءت الساعة تذكرون اني انا قلته لكم ولم اقل لكم من البداية لاني كنت معكم* 5 واما الان فانا ماض إلى الذي ارسلني وليس احد منكم يسالني اين تمضي* 6 لكن لاني قلت لكم هذا قد ملا الحزن قلوبكم* 7 لكني اقول لكم الحق انه خير لكم ان انطلق لانه ان لم انطلق لا ياتيكم المعزي ولكن ان ذهبت ارسله اليكم* 8 ومتى جاء ذاك يبكت العالم على خطية وعلى بر وعلى دينونة* 9 اما على خطية فلانهم لا يؤمنون بي* 10 واما على بر فلاني ذاهب إلى ابي ولا ترونني ايضا* 11 واما على دينونة فلان رئيس هذا العالم قد دين* 12 ان لي امورا كثيرة ايضا لاقول لكم ولكن لا تستطيعون ان تحتملوا الان* 13 واما متى جاء ذاك روح الحق فهو يرشدكم إلى جميع الحق لانه لا يتكلم من نفسه بل كل ما يسمع يتكلم به ويخبركم بامور اتية* 14 ذاك يمجدني لانه ياخذ مما لي ويخبركم* 15 كل ما للاب هو لي لهذا قلت انه ياخذ مما لي ويخبركم* 16 بعد قليل لا تبصرونني ثم بعد قليل ايضا ترونني لاني ذاهب إلى الاب* 17 فقال قوم من تلاميذه بعضهم لبعض ما هو هذا الذي يقوله لنا بعد قليل لا تبصرونني ثم بعد قليل ايضا ترونني ولاني ذاهب إلى الاب* 18 فقالوا ما هو هذا القليل الذي يقول عنه لسنا نعلم بماذا يتكلم* 19 فعلم يسوع انهم كانوا يريدون ان يسالوه فقال لهم اعن هذا تتساءلون فيما بينكم لاني قلت بعد قليل لا تبصرونني ثم بعد قليل ايضا ترونني* 20 الحق الحق اقول لكم انكم ستبكون وتنوحون والعالم يفرح انتم ستحزنون ولكن حزنكم يتحول إلى فرح* 21 المراة وهي تلد تحزن لان ساعتها قد جاءت ولكن متى ولدت الطفل لا تعود تذكر الشدة لسبب الفرح لانه قد ولد انسان في العالم* 22 فانتم كذلك عندكم الان حزن ولكني ساراكم ايضا فتفرح قلوبكم ولا ينزع احد فرحكم منكم* 23 وفي ذلك اليوم لا تسالونني شيئا الحق الحق اقول لكم ان كل ما طلبتم من الاب باسمي يعطيكم* 24 إلى الان لم تطلبوا شيئا باسمي اطلبوا تاخذوا ليكون فرحكم كاملا* 25 قد كلمتكم بهذا بامثال ولكن تاتي ساعة حين لا اكلمكم ايضا بامثال بل اخبركم عن الاب علانية* 26 في ذلك اليوم تطلبون باسمي ولست اقول لكم اني انا اسال الاب من اجلكم* 27 لان الاب نفسه يحبكم لانكم قد احببتموني وامنتم اني من عند الله خرجت* 28 خرجت من عند الاب وقد اتيت إلى العالم وايضا اترك العالم واذهب إلى الاب* 29 قال له تلاميذه هوذا الان تتكلم علانية ولست تقول مثلا واحدا* 30 الان نعلم انك عالم بكل شيء ولست تحتاج ان يسالك احد لهذا نؤمن انك من الله خرجت* 31 اجابهم يسوع الان تؤمنون* 32 هوذا تاتي ساعة وقد اتت الان تتفرقون فيها كل واحد إلى خاصته وتتركونني وحدي وانا لست وحدي لان الاب معي* 33 قد كلمتكم بهذا ليكون لكم في سلام في العالم سيكون لكم ضيق ولكن ثقوا انا قد غلبت العالم*
