1- To know the Lord is to
bear His cross, Go with Him through His passion and death. Towards the sacred goal I press, And everything else I count as a loss. R- Holy Cross, glorious, honored, wooden cross, Source of my strength. 2- Walking the second mile is a cross, Turning the other cheek is a cross. Loving our enemy is a cross, Going through the narrow road is a cross. 3- Holding faith in distress, While persecuted we bless. His mercies are countless, His sweet love knows no boundaries. |
