161) Manuscript of St. Takla Hemanot

 مخطوط القديس تكلاهيمانوت

Then I asked one of the monks about the manuscript of the Life of Saint Taklehaimanot, and I learned that they have an original copy at the manuscripts-storeroom , I asked to see it to copy parts of it..  Thank God it was done, and by that we have now the whole manuscript of the life of Saint Taklehaimanot in the Ge’ez Language (the ancient Ethiopian Language)..  Now we have the whole manuscript, by adding the parts we’ve taken from the Monastery of Saint Taklehaimanot: Debre Libanos Monastery, and from the Ethiopian Archives Library in Addis Ababa.

ثم سألت أحد الآباء الرهبان بالدير الأخير عن مخطوط حياة القديس تكلا هيمانوت، وعلمت بوجود نسخة أصلية منه في مخزن المخطوطات، فطلبت أن أرى المخطوط لنسخ بعض صفحاته..  ونشكر الله أن تم هذا الأمر، وبهذا يكتمل لدينا مخطوط القديس تكلا هيمانوت الحبشي بلغة الجيز، وهي اللغة الحبشية القديمة..  اكتمال المخطوط معنا، وذلك بإضافة ما حصلنا عليه سابقاً من دير القديس تكلا هيمانوت: ديبرا ليبانوس ومن مكتبة أرشيف الدراسات الحبشية بأديس أبابا.
