70) The Ethiopian chants in the Feast of Abba Taklahaymanout

 التسابيح الحبشية في عيد القديس تكلا هيمانوت

 

I got to know someone called “Awsaly Abebe”, he was so happy when I told him that I am from Egypt, and from a Church named after Saint Taklehaimanot, and started to tell others..  Once more they gave me the tools to participate in the celebration, “You are one of us” as he told me.. :)  He asked me about the celebrations of Saint Taklehaimanot in Egypt, I told him that they are two: His Departure in August and His Birth in January..  But we don’t have this one in May about moving His Holy Relics from His Cave to the Church in Debre Libanos, although the Coptic Church cares a lot about these commemorations, and arranges feasts in the days of the commemoration of moving the Relics of Saints.

ثم تعرفت على شخص اسمه "أوصالي أبيبي"، وفرح جداً عندما أخبرته بأنني من مصر، ومن كنيسة باسم القديس تكلاهيمانوت، وبدأ يخبر الحاضرين..  ومرة أخرى قاموا بإعطائي الأدوات الموسيقية لأشارك في الاحتفال، "فأنت واحد منّا" كما قال لي.. :)  وسألني عن احتفالات الأنبا تكلاهيمانوت في مصر، فأخبرته أنهم إثنين: يوم نياحته في أغسطس ويوم ميلاده في يناير..  ولكن ليس لدينها هذا الاحتفال في مايو بخصوص إحضار جسده الطاهر من المغارة إلى الدير (عيد نقل جسد الأنبا تكلا هيمانوت)، على الرغم من أن الكنيسة القبطية تهتم جداً بهذه التذكارات، وتقوم بعمل أعياد في ذكرى نقل أجساد القديسين.
